Row, row, row your boat....
Kevin and Dan are hauling the kayaks to the lake.
After a brief lesson from Kevin, Britt and Dan take off.
Rest stop. While they were out on the lake, Kevin and I took Ethan, Kaylin, and Krystin on a walk along the trail, heading for the swing...a very long walk for little legs.
And...Grandpa gave the kids piggyback rides when needed. Kaylin's arms look tired.
Good thing we brought a water bottle with us.
Still out, enjoying their time on the water
Krystin's turn
Kaylin and Ethan wanted to get into the kayaks...only allowed on dry land.
Then Dan rented 2 canoes so we could all be out on the water at the same time. Picking out an oar for everyone.
Two happy girls. (No, I did not turn around to take this photo. Too dangerous. Just pointed it over my shoulder.)
The other boat (Dan, Ethan, Kaylin, Grandpa)
We stopped and got out at the levee. Gpa watched the canoes while the rest of us climbed up to the spillway. Looking out over the rez.
Keeping a tight hold on little hands.
We even went wading. The water was just right.
