Even though this appears to be the first of the posting of new granddaughter, Renae Esther...it is actually the 3rd, but only because I was in a hurry to put these pictures out for family and friends viewing.... (See more in previous postings today)

Baby Renae and me, Grandma

This is a billboard with Jesse's picture, advertising for GICU. Had to take a shot of this while in town for the birth of his daughter. Ok...I was distracted for just a minute...now back to baby Renae and family....

Family photo....Renae, Jesse, Julie. Julie was a trooper (of course, there was no escape)...but she was in a very long time. Both mommy and daddy are very tired and are running on adrenalin....and are very excited about little Renae. It hasn't totally sunk in yet that they are really parents.

Class of 72....35th year reunion (can we possibly be that old??).

Below are pictures from the informal Friday night gathering at Hoodwinks. I've never been there, but it proved to be lots of fun....much catching up to do with old friends. I was sorry to have missed the rest of the classmates who were missing. (Sorry that there are those we never/seldom see...I think of the other Diane Smith, RenElla, Cathy G, Dave St., and others). LeeAnn, I know you went Saturday and I was so disappointed to have missed you. It's been a very long time. Marcia V, were you there?
I had so wanted to go Saturday evening to the reunion, but having jet lag, my husband and I fell asleep and woke up at 8:40 p.m. and we were too late to make it to the ball. For those of you with whom I conversed Friday night, please forgive my incoherant state. Dave L...I now remember where my sister, Dee lives ;o)
Below are the shots I took at Hoodwinks... some are not clear, but not having better ones, I chose to post these anyway.....hope I didn't exclude anyone. Enjoy a look back....

Mike B and wife Karen. I actually know Karen from childhood. Our families met together yearly for a day and we had so much fun playing together. Ask Karen what a sack swing is. It's way more fun if you use a ladder, right Karen?

Class of 72...Girls' Tea was on Saturday morning (thanks, Critter for arranging our gathering). Lots of gabbing going on. We each spoke briefly, updating all on ourselves and families as an introduction, then enjoyed our "tea". It was wonderful being with these ladies. We all felt young again (I think) and thoroughly enjoyed hearing from and visiting with each other. Everybody looked so great!

Kathy S (Kate), Rose, Ann, Lori

Pat, Kate, Rose

Chris, Cindy, Mary Ann (who, by the way can now claim that she has visited all 7 continents!!)

Cindy, Mary Ann, Pat, Kathy (sorry, trying to get used to "Kate". At least I see Pat enough that I don't call her Patsy anymore)

Cindy and Mary Ann

Pat, Kate, Sue (she showed up. A couple of the girls drove by Sue's parents' house and saw Sue outside weeding. They told her about the Tea and asked her to please come. We're so glad she did.)
