(see post previous to this one, but here are more pics from our visit to see Trey and Kari in France. Trey was a fantastic tour guide for Kevin and me during the day while Kari was at work. We walked many miles, many hours almost every day)

Waiting for the metro to stop so we can board

Our reflections in the window of the metro as we ride along

The bus stop we frequented near Trey's and Kari's home

Peering down from the apt window, watching Kevin as he returns from a walk.

Many passageways like this one in Old Lyon

The Tour Rose (Rose Tower)

The famous murals (this one and many others) are all over the world. The artists are home-based in Trey's and Kari's neighborhood. Very difficult to distinguish the mural from reality....even the upper windows when standing very close are hard to distinguish from the mural.

Kevin patting the dog.

The "Amana style" restaurant was wonderful. The owner is standing in the doorway (Kevin and Trey are behind her, inside waiting to pay)

This cheese tray was served at another party's table, but the tray just gets replenished and then served to the next party (which was us at this table)

Sopping up the gravy on your plate with your bread is acceptable.

We were under the shade of trees, but the sun stole through when the branches were parted by the lovely breeze.

Our table

More of the Tour Rose

The Fourviere Basilica

The view out the bedroom window

More Roman aquaducts....

...which serves as this car's garage

Kevin standing inside by the entry doors of St John's Cathedral

The reflection of stained glass windows inside St John's

Great pics, Penni! It looks like there are more if I'd just keep scrolling.

I especially like the light through the stained glass.
