FOR FAMILY ONLY :o)
This posting consists of extended family gathered at Aunt Oletha's funeral. Since we seldom see each other due to living so far apart, I wanted to post these pictures for the benefit of family only...so just know this is like a home movie...ok now, try to forget these were taken at a funeral...
Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Darwin, Aunt Verdella, Aunt Evelyn (my mom), Maynard, Uncle Larry, Phil, Mary, Aunt Ruth
Uncle Larry hugging Penni
Uncle Larry and Maynard
David and Uncle Larry
Aunts Dorothy and Verdella
Don, Joyce, and Marti
Don and Joyce (I believe Marti took this photo because she said Don looked like he was in model-pose)
Verdella and her kids...well, ok...we were waiting for Joyce to come, so Tommy thought he'd step in for her. Thanks, Tom. Glad you're not camera shy.
Ok, here we go. Tommy stepped aside and now it's Aunt Verdella, Don, Joyce, David.
Is this one better?
At lunch the cousins sat at one table. Tommy, Joyce, David.
Mary (sorry, Mary; but this was the only face shot I had of you. You really look prettier than shown here), Phil, Don
At the "adult" table: Uncle Darwin, Aunt Dorothy, Aunt Ruth
Maynard, Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Larry, Aunt Verdella
Tommy, Joyce, David, Marti
Cousin Eddy graciously taking our plates, David, Marti
First attempt at a sibling (those present) photo. Larry, Verdella, Evelyn, Darwin
2nd attempt
Tommy left before we could get a group cousin photo...
F: Marti, Joyce, Penni, Eddie
B: David, Phil, Don
Same order as above photo, another attempt at a good group shot
Same order, a more successful attempt .......there's lots of love anyway. And thank you, Mary for taking these shots. Your subjects just did not cooperate ;o)
Uncle Larry, Aunt Verdella, Uncle Darwin
Phil and Don
Eddie and Penni
WARNING: This is not a classic video, but...
this is for the sake of family only...enjoy and have a laugh remembering our past gatherings. Thought that those of you who were unable to come, would enjoy hearing some of the voices.

Thanks, Mom. Of course I don't remember most of these people, but it was good to 'see' those I do. I love how Dar always has his short sleeves rolled up
Trey, am glad you enjoyed the pics for their intended purpose....to bring a sense of our heritage through loving family over the years and to bring you a piece of "home". Love you, Mom
Sweet memories. I didn't know that I missed my cousins (and aunts & uncles) so much until I see them here. We really did laugh a lot didn't we.
Dee
Mom - thanks for posting the photos. Thanks for making me almost cry at seeing my great-aunts and uncles. Wow. That brought back memories of getting together with all your extended Widmer relatives when I was little.
-Britt :)
