Grandma was giving some personal attention to Krystin; and Kaylin, having been buddies with Grandma all week, felt threatened and wanted to be included in the one-on-one time I was having with Krystin. I explained to Kaylin that right now I was hugging Krystin and that she would be next after we were done. She didn't like that and proceded to wail...she curled up on top of the speaker and cried while she waited for her one-on-one time with Grandma.
As you can see, Kaylin did get her time with Grandma, as promised.
Then more attention, just to make sure she felt secure again.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch....
Britt has signed up to volunteer at a small ranch whose purpose is to restore broken horses and broken children. Here she is with Mike, the owner.
Britt is teaching Kaylin how to hold her hand to feed a horse. A bit terrifying for a little girl.
