The weekend for good-byes :o(

Boys will be boys..."Hey, Jesse. I'll give you my red for your orange."

Jesse and his friend since elementary school, Pat

Julie and her brothers (Michael, Tim, Scott)

Julie's family

Julie, Jesse, Renae, Penni, Kevin

Julie, Jesse, Renae

Jesse and Julie asked us if we wanted to put Renae to bed. Of course we did!!!
Good night, Little Peanut.

The two grandpas (with Taylor and Renae)

Julie and Renae standing at the door saying goodbye to Julie's brother and his family. A very hard good bye.

These two pictures are still hard for me to look at without tearing up. Julie is standing at the door, crying and waving good-bye to us....

...and Jesse and Renae are waving good-bye, along with Julie's dad.

We love you guys!

Penni, my heart breaks for you guys but oh the rewards you'll have for allowing your children to be obedient to God's call.

Love you,
Dee

It has nothing to do with my allowing them to be obedient. I can kick and scream and see them off while indulging in self pity or I can send them with my blessing, even if my heart hurts. But God gives peace. Thank you for sharing your heart with me. Love you, Penni

Thanks for posting these pictures. You take such nice ones.
It was great to see you guys over that weekend.

Also, is that one flower a Bleeding Heart?

Hi Julie! I don't have any pics of bleeding heart...which pic do you mean? I don't know what the yellow flower is and the red timber flower is what some call a May Apple. We used to call them by some other name but I cannot remember what this is anymore.

It was lovely seeing you and your family too! I'm a big believer in seizing any photo ops when the whole family is together because those moments become fewer and farther between as families grow.
