Our home has returned to normal...quiet, that is. And almost everything is put away. There are still reminders of many visitors as the deflated air mattresses and extra blankets are still waiting to be shelved for the next wonderful invasion.

Britt and Penni...ready to leave for our only mom and daughter time...going for Chinese dinner...and time spent in talking, laughing, crying, and later....walking and praying together on a summer night.

My handsome husband. What a gift from God he is to me. I love that man more and more with the passing of time.

Going kayaking. Penni and Kevin

At Gma Roth's and Maynard's...Trey bought Sen Sens (remember Gma Widmer always had those?) and shared some with Ethan and Kaylin. Surprisingly, they liked them. They're a licorice-flavored breath freshener. They used to come in little slide boxes that had a little hole in either end for dispensing a sen sen.

Kaylin enjoying a cup of Great Gma's homemade ice cream.

Dan and Britt....still very much in love. They're the old wedded couple in our family.

Ethan, Zeke, Kaylin, Great Gma (Evelyn)

Marti and Steve were able to come to Gma's and Maynard's to see our family, minus Julie and Jesse. J and J were only able to come on weekends because of their jobs.

Maynard, Trey, Gma, Britt. It was a fast few hours spent with them, but what fun to be together again!

Great grandchildren with Great Gparents: Kaylin, Ethan, Gma, Maynard, Krystin

Ethan showing Uncle Trey how to eat the TicTacs so that they crunch when you bite them.

Dan and Britt as we all walked through the cemetary when we visited releatives' gravesites.
