Am I coming across as a pridefully proud grandma when I'm trying to come across as a humbly proud grandma...
Kaylin playing on the floor. That girl is never still unless she's asleep.
Kaylin spotted a tunnel to crawl through when she saw Gpa sitting on the couch.
Laying on the floor....
Ethan spelling with the Boggle game and Kaylin creating art with colored pencils.
Guess whose baby feet.
Playing tic tac toe. Gpa was teaching Ethan how to look for patterns in strategizing.
Kevin was delighted to find this game familiar to him from childhood. Teaching Ethan to play pool.
Loves the water.
Did someone say it was time to husk the corn? Kaylin grabbed an ear and couldn't wait to shuck it.
Uncle Trey teaching Ethan how to shoot the Nerf crossbow. Trey, Britt, and Jesse each still have their crossbows from long ago.
Uncle Jesse and neice Krystin being introduced.
Two sisters-in-law who got to know each other during their time together.
A great, long anticipated reunion
Aunt Kari and Krystin in the early morning. Mom was happy to be able to go back to bed and get a little more needed sleep.
The early morning was the best time to enjoy some quiet one-on-one time with the little ones. Krystin was always the first one up.
Three beauties...inside and out. Sisters-in-law, Julie, Britt, Kari
This is how I ride Uncle Trey's John Deere.
I had heard Krystin crying earlier in her bed and later noticed she was quiet. I found that Uncle Jesse had heard her crying too, and couldn't stand to hear her sad little cry, knowing she was all alone in the dark bedroom, because she was supposed to be sleeping. So he went in to take care of her.
Gpa and Kaylin sculpting with playdough. Who better to play that with than Gpa, the artist?
