With citizens holding signs, going alongside the street, there was a great response from those driving by...lots of honking.
A veteran speaking out
We estimated there were a good 200 strong in attendance. Pretty good turnout considering it was in the middle of a workday (11:30-12:30). The crowd was very calm. We figure that the lone man who spoke out of the crowd and said something about a "black president, blah, blah, blah" was planted. Several people cut him off and stated emphatically that this is NOT about racism. We'll see what the news puts out there for "reporting" the facts.
